Welcome to the public beta of www.fixmymovie.com, MotionDSP's new consumer website.

FixMyMovie is a video sharing site powered by MotionDSP's patent-pending video enhancement technology. We've taken the same technology that powers the video forensic products we make for the security market, and made it available directly to consumers.

FixMyMovie makes videos from your mobile phone, digital camera, or webcam look great. We're excited to bring this technology to you, and hope that you will help us in making FixMyMovie as good as it can be.

Caveat: FixMyMovie is a beta site, it's rough around the edges, and we're actively working it, so please forgive us if it breaks occasionally. However, we want to hear your comments and suggestions, so don't hesitate to email us. And, feel free to share the site with your friends.

Cool things you can do with FixMyMovie

• Upload video from your mobile phone, webcam, or digital camera, and enhance it (our system can accept pretty much any file, as long as it's less than 20 megs, and 352x288 or smaller in resolution).
• Extract high-res JPEGs from your movies (pause the player at your favorite moment and click "Grab JPEG" to generate a high-res still you can download).
• Compare your original movie to the enhanced movie to see how well we've "fixed" it (use the Compare button -- right next to the full-screen button in the player).
• Share your enhanced movies with your friends, either by email, or by embedding the videos on your Facebook, MySpace, or blog page (just make sure to remind your friends to install the Adobe Flash Player 9).
• Download a high-res version of your enhanced movie in .mov, .wmv or flash format (bring the enhanced file back to your computer for editing, or upload our enhanced flash file to YouTube).

Getting Started

• Go to www.fixmymovie.com and sign up for an account. Fill in your username and email address, and our system will email you with a login link.
• Check out the Help and FAQ sections of the website.
• Upload some files and try it out -- we can accept pretty much any consumer video format: 3gp, .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .avi, .wmv, etc.
• Process as much as you like -- everyone starts with $50 of "FixMyMovie dollars" to begin with, so go nuts.
• Ask us a question, or tell us what you think -- click on Ask a question and write to us. We'll add your questions to the FAQ.
